Systemic racism is institutional racism is a form of racism that is embedded as normal practice within society or an organization. It can lead to such issues as discrimination in criminal justice, employment, housing, healthcare, political power, and education, among other issues. It's systems and structures that have procedures or processes that disadvantages African Americans.
We as African Americans shouldn't fear walking down the street being a threat to white people. The same white people who may see us as being the threat and call the cops, for no reason on us so we could be shot. We should be able to have better job opportunities and get hired rather they like black people or not. The school systems and medical industry also have systemic racism where it needs to change for the better.

I agreed with the author, Ijeoma Oluo, who wrote "So You Want To Talk About Race",who believes in changing the system itself. She also believes in defunding the police and creating a new system for reduce crime.
