Intel Accused of Putting Production over Safety

The tech company has been accused of putting chip output over employee safety. Workers reportedly claim that Intel worries less about safely distancing workers than production, and are lacking in responding to cases where people have been tested positive for the coronavirus.

Before the outbreak, there were many complaints of tech viruses in their products, and so the company was put under pressure to improve output.

Intel calls its products essential, and plans to keep production going while also improving working conditions.
