Actor and singer Tyrese Gibson should stop giving relationship advice. The author of "How To Get Out Your Own Way" and co-author of "Manology" is working on a second failed marriage. In the past, DJ Envy saluted the bad boy for helping him win his wife back after the radio host got caught cheating with reality star Erica Mena. Unfortunately, God can't repair this broken union, or at least that's the narrative Samantha is painting on IG.
If you recall, four years ago Tyrese found himself in hot water after bragging about finally finding his "Black Queen". Now, his "Black Queen" is jumping ship and appears to deliver a message of torture with the "devil".
Back in December, Tyrese and his wife Samantha Lee, announced they were parting ways in the following joint statement, "We have decided to make a statement of a painful and significant development in our lives. After much thought, consideration, and prayer, We unfortunately have made the difficult decision to officially separate & divorce. Our intention is to remain the best of friends & strong coparents. We feel incredibly blessed to have found each other and deeply grateful for the 4 years we have been married to each other. Our journey together has been a ride of both ups & downs, but it’s a journey that neither of us would have chosen to take with anyone else. We truly have so much love & respect for each other. We both have grown tremendously within this relationship; we have shared so many beautiful memories and moments, and we also look forward to see the amazing futures we have ahead of us individually. As if 2020 hasn’t already been extremely grueling and challenging we wanted to mutually speak on this now to keep this energy in 2020 and not take this energy into 2021. We would really appreciate your most sincere prayers and to respect our privacy at this time as we deal with the reality of where we are."
The couple appeared to be happy during public outings, however, Samantha’s IG posts suggest she married “the devil” out of loneliness. On August 19, Samantha Lee posted a meme that stated “Some people are so afraid of loneliness they accept the devil as a mate then pretend to be happy” followed up by the following statement, “Imma just leave this right here-“
Tyrese has had a history of abuse claims. His first wife, Norma Mitchell has made accusations of abuse in the past. According to reports, Norma stated she was physically and emotionally abused in her marriage and that not speaking out about it for years made her feel guilty when other women dealt with it. Was Norma attempting to warn Samantha of Tyrese's devilish ways?
Leading up to the couple's announcement, it is clear there was trouble in paradise. Recently, Tyrese has tried in vain to win his estranged wife back. But, it appears it is a day late and a dollar short. Now, it appears he has finally accepted they are at a place of no return. Tyrese posted, "With a healing heart I post this..... I am sorry for my sins and sorry for anything I’ve ever done to anyone rather I’m aware of it or not I just hope you find it in your heart to forgive me..... Hopefully, these two will be able to co-parent successfully. But, if history proves itself, Samantha may experience the same behavior Tyrese's first wife experienced. We will be watching.
