I am a veteran, English teacher, and author. I love writing and hope to share some of my interests. You can find examples of my current position as a writer for the aviation and history website Avgeekery.com where I write articles each week on aviation topics including commercial, historical, military, experimental, and space.

I have also written two coming-of-age novels and several short horror stories under pen name Will Granger and have them for sale at this link on Amazon.

I have recently completed a historical fiction novel, Shame of Kings, about the Calusa Indians in Florida, the Aztecs, and the Conquistadors. I am not sure if I ought to pursue a traditional publishing deal through a literary agent or try self publishing.

I have been writing posts about this on my Substack newsletter, Will Granger's Historical Fiction and Writing Newsletter, where I also describe my research, thoughts on publishing, and my writing process.

Finally, as an English teacher and author, I consider myself very anti-artificial intelligence. I have been writing about this on my other Substack newsletter, AI is For Sheep. There I am trying to write logical arguments about why I think AI has no place in school or the arts.
