Trump Treatment Suggestions for COVID-19 Prove Fatal

On March 20th, President Trump advised the public that hydroxychloroquine, a drug used to treat malaria, may be helpful in cases of COVID-19.

After Trump states that chloroquine is "not a drug you have a huge amount of danger with", his suggestion caused the death of an 82 year old Arizonian man. The man's wife reports to NBC News that after Trumps' suggestion, both of them tried the method. In a panic, the couple tried an unsafe version of chlorquine not used ion the drug. The result was devastating to their family.

Two similar deaths were reported in Nigeria, adding to already chaotic health departments across the world.
