Novak Djokovic donates one million euros to Serbia to fight COVID-19

The world's best tennis player Novak Djokovic will donate one million euros to Serbia to buy respirators to fight the virus corona. This is exactly what he revealed at a conference he was doing from Marbella, Spain, via video technology with Serbian journalists. Novak appeared at a video conference with his wife, Jelena, after leaving the United States on one of the last possible flights, and through Germany joined his family in Spain.

- Thank you for attending the conference gathering today. First of all, I would like to begin with a big thank you to my medical staff who have been fighting for human health throughout the world for days and are working hard to help the infected. The unpredictable situation, very serious, changes the source of information and the situation day by day - Novak started the conference: - The number of sick and infected is increasing every day, and accordingly, Jelena and I and the Foundation decided to gather as much information as possible to find out what is the best way to donate our resources, knowledge and money and how this aid could most effectively affect health people all over Serbia.

- Our donation is one million euros for the purchase of respirators and additional goods. Respirators are the most essential life-saving equipment. Judging by the condition in hospitals, they are already needed today and are the best short-term and long-term solution. So we decided to donate a million for respirators through my Uncle Goran, who has an influential network of people in the Chinese market.
