One of the greatest football players of all time, Diego Armando Maradona, has passed away in Argentina. Aside from the taste and affinity of the player's style, Maradona is certainly one of the greatest, if not the greatest. He was 60 years old. He performed starting from Argentine clubs and through European ones. There he reached the zenith of his career playing for Barcelona, Sevilla, and even today in Naples, Italy, he is considered a football god. In the cafes of this city in the south of Italy, his posters are still on the walls. His life outside of sports is also well known. In 2000, he almost died of a heart attack due to cocaine, and then spent years in rehabilitation. He also had brain surgery relatively recently, from which, as doctors claimed, he was successfully recovering.
According to Argentine media, Maradona suffered a heart attack at his home, after which he was admitted to hospital. After only a few minutes, the doctors pronounced him dead.
